Ryan relocated to the United Arab Emirates in 2008 and recently joined the Crown Prince Court - Abu Dhabi as official photographer where he covers activities of HH General Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the United Arab Emirates Armed Forces.
Prior to taking this position, Ryan completed assignments for the New York Times Magazine, the International Herald Tribune, Monocle, the National and the Walrus. His work has also been featured in the Sunday Times Magazine, D la Repubblica delle Donne/D Magazine, Canadian Geographic and Chatelaine.
