Eastern Canada Intro 2021
While living away from Canada, I often longed to explore my home country.
When I would return to Canada to visit family, I looked at the country I grew up in differently. I felt like an outsider. I found it quirky, strange, and more beautiful than I remembered.
After 10 years away, my wife and I moved back to Canada in 2017 and wanted to see parts of our home country we had never seen before. We slept in the back of our truck for two months while exploring eastern Canada; New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, PEI, and Newfoundland.
Ten thousand kilometres of forests, rolling hills, ocean, fishing villages, and fresh air. Ferry rides, campgrounds overlooking the ocean, sandy feet, warm sweaters, and fresh seafood cooked on a camp stove.
